We’re currently searching for support workers in our residential home in Sawston, Cambridge. Our home is a welcoming, caring and friendly environment where we look after the most amazing people.
Churchfield Avenue is an 8-bedded residential home in Sawston. We have a wide range of ages with various disabilities such as Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Dementia, Cerebral Palsy, as well as mental health issues. Churchfield Avenue is perfect for individuals who enjoy socialising! Our team encourages the people we support to participate in a wide range of in-house and community activities. Some activities we enjoy include arts and crafts, hosting karaoke sessions, pamper days, holistic and music therapy, plus much more!
Our team is trained to provide compassionate support to individuals and promote independence by offering opportunities for housemates to learn new skills and grow their confidence. This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference in the lives of others. The team sees the impact of their input and the difference they make to the lives of the people we support.
Staff are supported with a detailed induction and continuing professional development. Staff are trained and continue with new and exciting training when identified. We’re interested in our staff having both the right experience and the right values. Here at Churchfields, we follow Voyage's ETHOS.
