Days and Nights Support Worker – Fairlight – £13.11 ph. Typical shifts are: Day shifts and Waking nights 21:30 – 07:00. Available shifts vary based on rota.

Responsibilities
We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on support workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you’ll help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our residential service in Fairlight is a welcoming and friendly environment where no two days are the same. You’ll enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and participating in activities.
This role is ideal for someone looking to make a real difference in someone’s life and help them grow in confidence and independence to reach their goals, such as cooking dinner independently or going on holiday.
Qualifications and desirable experience
At Mountain Ash we value the right experience and the right values. Preference is given to applicants with a full UK driving licence, though this is not essential. The role requires you to be resilient, flexible and composed in your approach. Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice is preferred, as well as experience working with clients who have epilepsy or learning disabilities. The service is active, with activities such as lunch clubs, going to the cinema and bowling.
