Typical Shifts are: 07:00am- 14:30pm, 14:00 – 21:00, 07:00 – 21:30pm (Waking nights 21:30pm – 07.00AM)

As a support worker with us you\’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service in Fairlight is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone\’s life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

At Mountain ash we are interested in our support workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service support workers with a full UK driving license are preferred however not necessary ,be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with clients that have epilepsy, learning disabilities. Overall the service is very active some days getting involved in activities like lunch clubs , going cinema and bowling.
