Location: Eastington, Gloucestershire (You need to have had a UK driving licence for 1 year and own your vehicle with business insurance in order to take the PWS out).

We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people. Our supported living service is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same!

You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema. This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support adults with diverse needs, including those with behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories or trauma.
  • Provide personal care, teach life skills, facilitate community participation and social activities.
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and practice reflective learning.
  • Work shifts 7am-14:30, 14:30-22:00 and sleep-ins as required.
Qualifications & Requirements

You should hold a full UK driving licence, be resilient, flexible and composed. Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans, reflective practice and working with individuals requiring enhanced support is essential. All applicants and subsequent job offers will be subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.

Pay & Benefits

Pay rate starts from £12.84 per hour; sleeping in pay £73.89. Shifts are a mixture of: 7am–14:30 and 14:30–22:00; sleep-ins as required. Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (T&C apply). Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour (T&C apply).
