We’re looking for a Specialist Support – Procurement & Fleet to join our team and play a key role in keeping two essential functions running smoothly and efficiently. This role provides high-quality administrative, operational, and analytical support across both procurement and fleet activity. You’ll help maintain accurate records, support compliance, enable effective supplier management, and ensure our fleet runs safely, sustainably, and cost-effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Fleet Support
- Managing accurate vehicle records including insurance, MOTs, servicing, and compliance schedules.
- Monitoring fleet utilisation, fuel efficiency, and emissions, supporting ongoing optimisation work.
- Offering guidance to operational teams on transport requirements and policy compliance.
- Supporting the move towards low-emission and electric vehicles.
- Managing telematics system administration and supplier relationships.
- Leading the review and reconciliation of fleet invoices to ensure accuracy and cost control.
- Procurement Support
- Maintaining supplier records, contract information, and compliance documentation.
- Supporting tender processes, quotation requests, and supplier onboarding.
- Managing catalogues and systems such as Coupa/VPS.
- Raising purchase orders for centrally negotiated contracts.
- Analysing spend and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Cross-Functional & Financial Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance across both procurement and fleet activities.
- Producing reports on KPIs, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Reconciling invoices, addressing discrepancies, and supporting vendor management.
- Acting as the first point of contact for operational queries.
- Contributing to process improvements, digitalisation initiatives, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong organisational, analytical, and data-management skills.
- Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with relevant systems (e.g., Coupa, telematics platforms).
- Confident communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
