About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end tender management within our busy and fast-paced tendering team. You will work on public sector tenders in the health and social care sector, supporting and deputising for the Head of Bids and Tendering. The role includes drafting and writing high-quality bid content, coordinating Bid Writers, and contributing to business growth through successful tender submissions. You’ll be at the heart of every aspect of tender development, ensuring submissions are compliant, compelling, and aligned with Voyage Care’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse tender documents, create launch materials, and lead launch calls.
- Gather and translate information into persuasive, competitive tender submissions.
- Write original, high-quality content that meets compliance and clarity standards.
- Collaborate with Bid Writers and oversee their contributions to tenders.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tender documentation, including portal submissions.
- Conduct final portal checks to ensure full compliance.
- Maintain reporting and contribute to the team’s information library.
- Coach and support Bid Managers and Bid Writers in their development.
- Help meet team targets and objectives.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate and current information is used.
- Follow agreed management and review processes to ensure quality and auditability.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree‑level qualification.
- Minimum three years’ experience in bid management within the social care sector, ideally including Voyage Care’s specialisms.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of public procurement in health and social care.
- High computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Strong project management, planning, and time‑management skills.
- Confident verbal and presentational communication.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, attending the office when required.
