Registered Service Managers play a vital role in shaping the quality of care and support we deliver. We’re currently looking for an experienced manager to lead one of our residential services in Trowbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well‑established service and shape its next phase of development. You’ll have the autonomy to bring fresh ideas, strengthen ways of working, and build on existing foundations to further enhance quality and outcomes. The service is ready for a leader who can make it their own – someone who is visible, supportive, and confident in guiding a team forward. This role offers the opportunity to embed consistency and introduce new approaches that continue to improve the experience for both the team and the people we support.

You’ll be working in a service supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities. It is a fast‑paced and rewarding environment where strong leadership makes a real difference.

This is an opportunity to build on strong foundations and shape the next phase of the service. You will be joining a large, established team and will play a key role in creating a positive and engaged team, strengthening consistency and performance, and driving quality and standards forward. We are looking for someone who leads from the front – visible, approachable, and confident in managing. You will also bring fresh thinking, particularly around activities, community engagement, and improving outcomes.

In this role, you will take overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the service. This includes leading and developing your team, ensuring high standards of care, and maintaining strong working relationships with families and professionals. We are looking for an experienced and confident leader who understands the demands of managing a complex service. You will be resilient, proactive, and comfortable leading change where needed.

Required Experience and Qualities
  • Experience in a care management role
  • A good understanding of CQC and regulatory standards
  • A passion for developing teams and improving services
  • Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Most importantly, you are passionate about people – both those you support and the teams you lead.
