Role Overview and Purpose:

The Supported Living Partnership and Development Manager will play a key role in driving capacity growth of the organisation\’s Supported Living portfolio. The role is accountable for partnership engagement and building strong relationships with Housing Associations, Registered Providers, and Developers to secure Supported Living growth opportunities, alongside sourcing, negotiating, and managing turnkey developments for Supported Living properties. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Supported Living sector and a proven track record of delivering Supported Living development initiatives.

We are seeking a dynamic and outcomes-focused Supported Living Partnership and Development Manager who can foster and sustain strong relationships within the housing and development sector and lead on the delivery of a pipeline of high-quality Supported Living developments across the UK. The Supported Living Partnership and Development Manager will play a pivotal role in achieving the Supported Living strategic growth objectives for Voyage Care and shaping the future of our Supported Living portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification, negotiation, and execution of turnkey development opportunities for Supported Living.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities in line with the organisation’s growth objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with housing associations, developers, and external stakeholders to unlock supported living growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team to align Supported Living growth opportunities with Registered care development opportunities.
  • Work alongside operational colleagues and other internal stakeholders to ensure new Supported Living development opportunities align with our value proposition.
  • Manage the development program of safe, compliant, and high-quality home environments for the people we support, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Manage external development stakeholders, such as architects, developers, project managers, and contractors, to ensure the successful delivery of development projects on time and within budget.
  • Preparation of project appraisals to support decision-making processes.
  • Negotiate and manage Supported Living Agreements in collaboration with the in-house Legal team.
  • Maintain relationship management with Housing Associations to support ongoing operations within our existing Supported Living Portfolio.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in Property Acquisition and Development within the care sector, preferably related to Supported Living Developments.
  • Proven track record of delivering numerous turnkey developments within the care sector.
  • Strong network with Housing Associations and developers within the Supported Living Sector.
  • Background in managing relationships with Housing Organisations and aligning property strategies with operational goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations within the care sector.
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
