We are currently searching for a fantastic Registered Service Manager to join us in leading our specialist Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) rehabilitation service in Nuneaton. This is a unique opportunity to take the lead of a well-established, highly regarded service that supports adults with acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities, emotional support needs and cognitive impairments. The service provides a rehabilitation-focused pathway, empowering people to develop independence, build confidence and achieve meaningful outcomes within their local communities. The service consists of 8 residential rehabilitation beds and 4 transitional independence flats, all operating under one CQC registration. It provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager looking to lead a high-quality service while further developing occupancy and supporting future growth.

About the Role

Our Registered Service Manager will work closely with local authorities, healthcare professionals, commissioners, families and the people we support, ensuring the delivery of outstanding person-centred care and rehabilitation. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, including:

  • Leading, motivating and developing an established and experienced team.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and person-centred support.
  • Managing occupancy and supporting the successful commissioning of vacant beds.
  • Conducting audits, supervisions, appraisals and quality monitoring.
  • Managing budgets and service performance.
  • Ensuring regulatory, legislative and contractual requirements are met.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous improvement and positive outcomes for the people we support.

What We’re Looking For

We’re interested in our Registered Service Manager having both the right experience and the right values. The successful candidate will:

  • Hold previous Registered Manager experience or significant management experience within health and social care.
  • Be willing and able to undertake CQC registration if not already registered.
  • Hold, or be willing to work towards, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
  • Have experience working within a CQC-regulated environment.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Have experience managing quality, compliance and service performance.
  • Be passionate about delivering person-centred support and positive outcomes.

Experience within acquired brain injury, neurological rehabilitation or complex care services would be advantageous; however, we also welcome applications from experienced leaders from other care settings who can demonstrate transferable skills and a desire to develop within a specialist rehabilitation environment.
