Deputy Manager – Location: Mapperley – Pay Rate: £28,431 per annum – Recruiting a Deputy Manager for our brand new, mental health supported accommodation service in Mapperley.

Overview

Deputy Service Managers at Voyage Care are central to enhancing the quality of life for the people we support. We operate a friendly, welcoming environment in Mapperley, providing mental health supported accommodation and the opportunity to help people recover and gain independence.

As a Deputy Manager you will lead a team in delivering trauma‑informed support, develop and implement person‑centred support plans, conduct care needs assessments, recruit, induct and supervise staff, manage medication competencies and audits, attend multi‑disciplinary meetings, and produce reports while supporting the Registered Manager in day‑to‑day service management. You will also participate in the on‑call rota.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team to provide trauma‑informed support for residents.
  • Develop and implement person‑centred support plans.
  • Conduct care needs assessments and support service planning.
  • Recruit, induct, and supervise new staff, completing supervisions/appraisals.
  • Complete medication competencies and medication audits.
  • Attend multi‑disciplinary meetings and prepare reports.
  • Assist the Registered Manager in overall service management.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care management role.
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support.
  • Knowledge of strength‑based and trauma‑informed approaches.
