Ardwick Manchester - £13.72 ph Full time 37.5 & Part time 22.5 hours available. Typical Shifts are: Various shifts available.

We’re on the hunt for a Chef to join us in our residential rehabilitation / ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service Devonshire house in Ardwick. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Chef with us you’ll be enhancing the quality of life of the people we support through the preparation and cooking of nutritious, balanced meals. Our Chefs / Cooks are the backbone of the kitchen, ensuring that the people we support are offered balanced, nutritious meals that promote their health and wellbeing.

Not only will you be cooking and preparing these meals, you will be producing meal plans, ensuring the kitchen is cleaned to a high standard, checking in kitchen deliveries and stock take, working closely alongside other kitchen colleagues and working closely with our colleagues that provide support to help them further enhance the people we support’s independent living skills.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to the lives of others. We’re interested in our Chefs having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Chefs / Cooks should have previous experience working in a catering/kitchen environment, experience working in health and social care, experience leading a kitchen team and relevant qualifications and understanding of food hygiene regulations.
