About the Role

Registered Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Registered Manager to join us in leading our residential service in Folkestone. This service is home to six adults with a moderate learning disability. It is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Our Registered Manager will work alongside local authorities, healthcare professionals and the families of the people we support as well as leading a team to ensure that people gain more independence in their daily lives and have positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day running of the service(s).
  • Develop and implement person‑centred support plans.
  • Conduct care needs assessments.
  • Recruit and induct new colleagues.
  • Complete supervisions/appraisals.
  • Complete medication competencies and medication audits.
  • Attend multi‑disciplinary meetings.
  • Complete quarterly audits and reports.
  • Effectively manage the service’s P&L.
  • Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal and contractual requirements are met, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the on‑call rota.
  • Lead a dynamic, caring team committed to the care sector and delivering the best support.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience as a CQC registered manager in a care management role.
  • Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration.
  • Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and moderate learning disabilities.
  • Strong leadership, dynamism and a caring attitude.
