About the Role
Registered Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Registered Manager to join us in leading our residential service in Folkestone. This service is home to six adults with a moderate learning disability. It is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!
Our Registered Manager will work alongside local authorities, healthcare professionals and the families of the people we support as well as leading a team to ensure that people gain more independence in their daily lives and have positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day running of the service(s).
- Develop and implement person‑centred support plans.
- Conduct care needs assessments.
- Recruit and induct new colleagues.
- Complete supervisions/appraisals.
- Complete medication competencies and medication audits.
- Attend multi‑disciplinary meetings.
- Complete quarterly audits and reports.
- Effectively manage the service’s P&L.
- Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal and contractual requirements are met, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Participate in the on‑call rota.
- Lead a dynamic, caring team committed to the care sector and delivering the best support.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience as a CQC registered manager in a care management role.
- Willingness and ability to undertake CQC registration.
- Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and moderate learning disabilities.
- Strong leadership, dynamism and a caring attitude.
