The predicted salary is between 28800 - 31000 £ per year.

Specialist Support Worker – Bradwell £13.89ph up to £14.89 with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply). Female only. Full UK driving license required due to service requirements.

Typical shifts: Monday-Sunday 7am-3pm & 3pm-10pm (Shifts are on a rota basis). Sleeps/nights will be required as part of this role.

Our complex supported living service in Bradwell is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll enhance lives by teaching new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging community engagement, socialising, and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out at local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding playing video games, watching films, or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone looking to make a real difference, helping people grow in confidence and independence to meet their goals, whether that be making dinner alone or going on holiday.

We’re interested in support workers having the right experience and values. Resilience, flexibility, and composure, experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice, as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support (behaviour distress, mental health conditions, autism, potential forensic histories, trauma).

The role may involve interacting with individuals who exhibit behaviours of distress or require enhanced support.

Qualifications & Experience:

Preference given to those with experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour distress, mental health conditions, autism, potential forensic histories, and trauma. Relevant experience in Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice is essential. All applicants and subsequent job offers will be subject to satisfactory DBS checks and references.
