Your Role You'll support a lady living in supported accommodation, providing minimal support with personal care and household tasks, alongside visual observation, verbal prompts and reassurance when needed. You'll help her:
- Build independence with everyday tasks
- Access the local community using her own manual car
- Enjoy activities including bowling, art group and social clubs
- Attend her monthly evening disco/club and church on Sundays
- Shop, plan meals and develop daily living skills
- Feel heard, respected and valued
From creating her weekly menu to enjoying a day out, you'll be there to support her every step of the way. Someone who is patient, compassionate, resilient and encouraging, with a genuine desire to help someone live an independent and fulfilling life. Epilepsy experience and a UK driving licence are required. Previous care experience is beneficial, but your values and attitude matter most.
