This is an exciting opportunity for a manager who thrives on challenge, leads from the front, and is passionate about driving positive change.

Able to demonstrate successful turnaround experience within care services, including improving performance, culture, quality or compliance. This isn't a service that needs maintaining. It needs transforming. This role requires a leader who can lead from the front, set clear expectations, and build accountability, trust and high performance.

We're looking for someone who brings energy, vision and resilience; a leader who can inspire confidence within the team, challenge where needed, balance support with accountability, and drive sustainable improvements that enable both colleagues and the people we support to thrive.

Why This Role? This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a well-established specialist service and make a genuine impact. You’ll be joining a service with strong foundations and the backing of a committed and supportive operational leadership team. What we're looking for now is a manager who can bring fresh ideas, strong leadership and the confidence to drive the service forward. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on challenge and enjoys making a visible impact.

If you're passionate about leading change, developing people and transforming good services into great ones, this is a role where you can genuinely make a difference.

If you've successfully led services through turnaround programmes, managed underperforming services, improved quality, embedded high standards or delivered service improvement plans, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing: As Registered Service Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership, quality and performance of the service. You'll:

  • Lead and inspire a large multidisciplinary team
  • Drive a positive and accountable culture
  • Develop and coach managers and team leaders
  • Ensure the highest standards of person‑centred support
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and action plans
  • Manage compliance, governance and regulatory requirements
  • Build strong relationships with families, professionals and commissioners
  • Take ownership of service performance, occupancy and budget management
  • Champion rehabilitation, independence and positive outcomes

What We're Looking For: We're seeking an experienced care leader who is:

  • An existing Registered Manager or experienced Service Manager ready for their next challenge
  • Confident leading large teams in complex environments
  • Experienced in driving service improvement and quality standards
  • Able to demonstrate successful turnaround experience within care services, including improving performance, culture, quality or compliance
  • Comfortable managing change and challenging poor practice
  • Resilient, visible and highly organised
  • A strong communicator who can influence and motivate others
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding person‑centred care
  • Experienced within rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, complex care, learning disabilities, mental health or similar specialist services

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can balance support with accountability. Someone who can earn trust, build relationships and develop others whilst maintaining high expectations and clear professional standards. If you're motivated by building high-performing teams, improving quality and leaving services better than you found them, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Why Voyage Care? Alongside a rewarding career with genuine development opportunities, you'll receive:

  • Enhanced retirement leave
  • Long Service Awards
