Voy is a fast growing Healthtech scale‑up, aiming to be the healthcare provider that millions of people trust as their partner to a long and healthy life. Our platform allows users to quickly and safely diagnose possible conditions, get treatment and support them afterwards to live a higher quality life. To do this, we are building an all-in-one healthcare platform which brings together world‑leading medical expertise and technical excellence.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a React Native Engineer to help build and scale VOY’s mobile experience – a core part of how users engage with their health, access care, and build long‑term healthy habits. This role goes beyond shipping screens. You’ll take real ownership of mobile experiences used by hundreds of thousands of patients, working end to end from understanding user problems through delivery, iteration, and measurement. You’ll be joining a fast‑growing product area with high visibility and a meaningful impact on our mission to become the healthcare partner people trust for life.

Our mobile stack is built on React Native, but we’re also keen to hear from strong React engineers who are excited to move into mobile development. React Native experience isn’t essential – we care about strong technical fundamentals, a product mindset, and a willingness to work across mobile development. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, design, and data, helping shape experiences that improve engagement, retention, and health outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Own mobile features end to end, from problem definition and design through launch and post‑release iteration
  • Build and ship high‑quality mobile experiences that drive engagement and support healthy user behaviours
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of mobile features in production
  • Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code using React Native or React, meeting high engineering standards
  • Influence mobile architecture to support product growth and a scaling engineering team
  • Use analytics, feature flags, and observability to measure success and iterate based on real user data
  • Balance delivery speed with long‑term robustness, making informed technical trade‑offs
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to shape product decisions and improve the broader product and engineering roadmap

Who You Are

  • An experienced frontend or mobile engineer with strong React and TypeScript fundamentals; React Native experience is a nice to have, not a requirement
  • A product‑minded builder who optimizes for user needs, business outcomes, and long‑term impact
  • Deeply invested in user experience, with a strong instinct for identifying and improving poor UX
  • An owner, not a task‑taker – accountable for outcomes, not just implementation
  • Comfortable working across the stack when needed, including shaping APIs and collaborating on backend or infrastructure changes
  • Data‑informed in decision making, using metrics and insights to guide iteration
  • A clear communicator who can explain technical concepts and trade‑offs to non‑engineering partners
  • Thrives in fast‑moving environments, challenging assumptions and balancing first‑principles thinking with pragmatic execution

Please note that this is a hybrid role with a requirement of in‑office presence, 3 days per week.

Healthcare is broken. We’re fixing it — and we need your help. Back in 2019, we launched MANUAL to tackle men’s health (starting with hair loss and sexual health). A few years later, we launched Voy with a focus on weight loss. But our ambition has always been bigger. Healthcare too often treats conditions in isolation, not people as a whole, and we’re on a mission to prove there’s a better way. In 2025, we evolved from MANUAL into Voy, a brand built for the long game: supporting people through every stage of life, not just a single diagnosis. Today, we support over 1 million members across the UK, Germany and Brazil, delivering personalised care across weight loss, menopause, hair loss and TRT (with more categories on the way). Ready to join us and change how healthcare feels for millions of people?
