The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Vox Consultants are currently recruiting for an Electrician. Standard hours are 39 hours per week, across 7 days as a 1 in 3 weekend shift pattern is in place, which comes with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. You will also be part of the on-call team rota, contributing to the responsive works.
What you will do:
- Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met across the contract
- Testing and inspecting electrical installations in line with current IEE wiring regulations
- Responding promptly to breakdowns, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Performing planned and preventative electrical maintenance and diagnosing/replacing failed domestic electrical components
- Actively fault finding and problem solving on domestic electrical systems
- Undertaking electrical installation activities according to provided designs and IET Wiring Regulations
- Monitoring and ordering critical spares for all electrical services, and oversee the BMS System
- Supporting zero carbon initiatives, contributing to sustainability goals, and handling additional tasks as directed by your line manager
What you will bring:
- City & Guilds 2365 (Parts 1–3), NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations
- Experience of electrical maintenance activities, general distribution, installation, and testing
- Ability to work alone and use initiative
- Comfortable working at heights and in a secure environment
