The Opportunity: As a Regional Director, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the strategic and operational success of a major UK region. With leadership over a 1,000-strong workforce, this role is pivotal in driving performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end execution of regional strategy, ensuring excellence across service delivery, client relationships, and team development.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Strategic Leadership: Design and deliver regional strategies aligned with wider business goals.
  • P&L Ownership: Full financial accountability — drive revenue, manage costs, and ensure profitability.
  • Operational Delivery: Ensure seamless delivery of workforce services with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong partnerships with clients and stakeholders to foster new and repeat business.
  • Workforce Management: Oversee recruitment, development, and retention strategies for regional teams.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance: Champion safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Performance Management: Track KPIs and take corrective actions to ensure top-tier business performance.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire, support, and grow high-performing teams across all service functions.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Drive process improvements and lead on service innovation.

Key Experience & Skills Required:

  • Proven leadership in workforce provision or infrastructure services
  • Strong P&L and commercial management experience
  • Outstanding relationship-building and client management skills
  • Deep understanding of UK infrastructure and workforce operations
  • Inspirational leadership of large, diverse teams
  • Results-driven with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Accountabilities Include:

  • P&L and credit control for the region
  • 75%+ recruitment fill rate
  • Execution of sales and growth plans
  • Standardisation and improvement of operational practices
  • Ensuring our client is a top-tier supplier on all projects
  • Client satisfaction and service delivery excellence
  • Reputation management and compliance adherence
