Location: North London

Rate: £29 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract: 3-Month Ongoing Contract

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join a busy maintenance team working across North London. This role requires a competent and versatile Carpenter with strong experience carrying out a wide range of joinery, repair, and maintenance works to a high standard within occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out repairs and maintenance to timber doors, frames, sash windows, and UPVC windows and doors
  • Complete all aspects of carpentry and joinery works
  • Measure accurately and submit detailed joinery orders for replacement items including box frames and timber doors
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to windows, doors, locks, and associated fittings
  • Undertake associated multi-trade duties including basic plumbing, tiling, and making-good works
  • Ensure all works are completed to a professional and high-quality standard
  • Work safely and efficiently across occupied and unoccupied properties
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail and customer service standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in carpentry and joinery maintenance
  • Strong experience repairing sash windows and UPVC windows and doors
  • Ability to accurately measure and submit joinery requests/orders
  • Competent carrying out basic plumbing and tiling works
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Experience working within social housing or maintenance environments is desirable
