Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join a busy team in West London. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality housing management services, supporting residents across mixed-tenure properties, and ensuring safe, sustainable communities. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone confident in handling tenancy issues, customer-facing work, and working proactively to prevent tenancy breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a patch of properties, delivering day-to-day tenancy management
- Respond to reports of anti-social behaviour and carry out investigations
- Support residents to sustain their tenancies through early intervention
- Conduct tenancy audits, estate inspections and home visits
- Work closely with support services, contractors, and external agencies
- Manage safeguarding concerns and escalate where necessary
- Handle complaints, rent-related queries, successions, and tenancy changes
- Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and policy requirements
Requirements
- Previous Housing Officer / Tenancy Management experience is essential
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work confidently on-site and manage a varied caseload
