Interim Valuation Surveyor 3 to 6 month ongoing contract An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Interim Valuation Surveyor based in East London London with a leading Local Authority. Rate: £79.44 per hour Umbrella. Responsibilities: Location: Colindale/Hybrid with borough-wide site visits as needed Essential Qualifications: RICS Membership Current valid UK driving license and willingness to drive – If you don’t have access to a vehicle, a pool car will be provided for work purposes. Desirable: Local Authority experience as a valuerThis is a client facing role that will suit an electrical inspector with electrical engineer capability who is experienced and has a passion for residential social housing. Someone who understands electrical installations and is able and willing to complete condition surveys, write condition reports; to carry out Feasibility Studies and generate reports. Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer. And to feed into a wider electrical engineering team. About the Role – The post holder will: Support the Head of Property Services in ensuring the first-class delivery of property asset valuations. Undertake the Council’s valuation requirements including general valuation advice, development site valuations, Asset Valuations and any other valuations as required. Undertake unaccompanied site visits of sites (including construction sites) and buildings. Handle and respond to finance and audit enquiries relating to asset valuations.
