Facade Consultant (with Condition Survey Experience) London £45,000 – £55,000 (Permanent) Our client, a leading specialist consultancy, is seeking an experienced Facade Consultant with strong expertise in façade systems and building condition surveys. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while contributing to a dynamic and growing team. The consultancy specializes in delivering expert facade solutions for blue-chip projects across London, covering a diverse range of sectors, including high-end residential developments, commercial offices, and mixed-use schemes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed condition surveys of existing buildings, assessing façade performance, durability, and compliance. Provide technical advice on various cladding systems, construction methodologies, and refurbishment strategies. Engage in post-contract work, including site inspections, quality control, and defect analysis. Contribute to broader consultancy duties, including design reviews, technical reporting, and project coordination. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and developers to ensure best-practice facade solutions.Key Requirements: Minimum 5+ years’ experience working for a Façade Consultant in the UK. Strong technical knowledge of cladding systems, materials, and construction methods. Proven experience conducting building condition surveys and identifying remedial solutions. Some exposure to post-contract activities with a willingness to engage in a broad range of consultancy services. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
