Job Description: Estates Officer An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Officer to join a well-established managed services provider supporting the healthcare sector. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Engineering, Building, and Grounds Maintenance teams. The successful candidate will ensure a high-quality, cost-effective, and fully compliant maintenance service across the estate, working with both in-house staff and external contractors. You\’ll also provide technical leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to broader strategic planning. This full-time, permanent role includes participation in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 estates support. Key Responsibilities: Plan and oversee reactive and planned maintenance programmes to meet statutory and HTM compliance. Manage, lead, and develop a multidisciplinary team including engineering, building, and grounds staff. Oversee work carried out by contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-efficiency. Act as Authorised Person (AP) in relevant disciplines and ensure HTM standards are maintained. Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers, communicating work schedules and resolving issues effectively.
