We are currently recruiting for an experienced Contract Manager (Operations) to join a leading Housing Association on a 26-week contract based in Central London.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening contract governance, compliance, and operational performance across a diverse housing portfolio.
Working in a hybrid environment, you will oversee a wide range of operational contracts, ensuring services are delivered effectively, risks are managed, and providers consistently meet contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain robust contract management frameworks across operational service contracts.
Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
Lead governance, compliance, and assurance activities to ensure services meet statutory and organisational standards.
Conduct contract audits and reviews to identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
Manage relationships with contractors, local authorities, and internal stakeholders.
Investigate contractual breaches and performance issues and implement corrective action plans where required.
Lead on contract variations, change control processes, and governance documentation.
Provide expert advice on contractual compliance, governance, and operational performance.
About You Proven experience in a Contract Manager, Commercial Manager, or Contract Performance role.
Previous experience within a Housing Association, Local Authority, property services, or a similarly regulated environment.
Strong knowledge of contract management, governance, compliance, and performance monitoring.
Experience managing supplier relationships, KPIs, SLAs, audits, and risk management.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
