We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaner to join a busy housing team in North London on a temporary ongoing contract. This role will involve maintaining communal areas within residential properties to a high standard and ensuring a clean, safe, and presentable environment for residents and visitors.
Duties will include:
- Cleaning communal areas within residential blocks and housing estates
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting communal spaces
- Cleaning lifts, stairwells, corridors, entrances, and bin areas
- Reporting repairs, health & safety concerns, or anti-social behaviour
- Ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained correctly
- Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience within Councils or Housing Associations is essential
- Standard DBS required
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
