Are you a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Joiner with expertise in fire door installation? We are currently seeking a Fire Door Carpenter/Joiner to join our clients team in the west london area for a long term project running for the rest of this year and the whole of next year. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing fire safety measures and ensuring the integrity of buildings through the installation of fire doors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fire doors, frames, and associated hardware in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct inspections and assessments to identify fire door deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure fire doors are integrated seamlessly into building designs and renovations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in fire safety regulations pertaining to fire door installation and maintenance.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues and clients on fire door-related matters.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner with a specialisation in fire door installation and maintenance.
- Experience working in a housing association or council
