The predicted salary is between 20000 - 28000 £ per year.
To carry out cleaning duties on client owned and/or any other authorised properties and sites.
Responsibilities
- To undertake cleaning of communal entrances, stairwells, corridors, bin stores and areas identified within the cleaning specification. This will include but is not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, washing of floors, walls, ceilings, doors and other fixtures and fittings; cleaning of internal windows, litter picking, graffiti removal, carpet cleaning and using hazard signs when required.
- Complete digital records of work completed.
- Organise workload in such a way as to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness using all resources available to them.
- Ensure all materials are available before starting works and all materials are used according to their design. Vehicle stock kept current and stocked accordingly (applicable).
- Maintain accurate records relating to use of materials, fuel, time spent on all works; and to complete appropriate work records, stock requisitions, and other paperwork as required by management.
- Ensure all equipment, and vehicle (if appropriate), in their charge are kept safe, secure and serviceable at all times.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role within a Housing organisation/cleaning position.
- Knowledge and understanding of the range of practical and technical issues relevant to the provision of carrying out communal cleaning.
- Knowledge and skills in the use of chemicals and mechanical devices associated with cleaning operations.
- Current holder of a full UK driving Licence.
- Be able to use a phone and tablet to complete basic reporting and e-learning.
- Ability to communicate effectively & accurately in a manner that is readily understood.
- Acting in a positive and courteous manner, listening to internal & external customers understanding their needs & requirements particularly when dealing with problems.
