Responsibilities- Work strategically with other departments to support neighbourhood plans and ensure their importance is recognised across the council.
- Collaborate with partners in asset management to develop, review and deliver the borough's investment programme covering major works, fire safety and decent homes.
- Ensure that residents and stakeholders are involved in the delivery of services and informed on proposals and satisfied with the delivery of services.
- Establish a clear programme of communication to staff, residents and stakeholders, ensuring all parties are kept informed of local performance and aware of their contribution to meeting the wider aims of the housing service.
- Contribute to the success of the service through membership of the Management Team, deputising, managing portfolios and providing cover for other members of Housing Management when necessary.
- Successful candidates will have experience working as a Housing Officer in a council or Housing Association.
