About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Accommodation Housing Officer to join a busy Housing team in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver a resident-focused housing management service across a portfolio of temporary accommodation. You'll work closely with residents, managing agents, contractors, and partner agencies to ensure accommodation is safe, well managed, and that vulnerable households receive the support they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality housing management service across temporary accommodation.
- Act as the first point of contact for residents, resolving enquiries and providing advice and support.
- Carry out regular property inspections to assess condition, health and safety, and compliance standards.
- Identify and investigate tenancy or licence fraud, making referrals where appropriate.
- Manage tenancy and licence issues, including anti-social behaviour, abandonment, breaches, and enforcement action.
- Support residents with tenancy sustainment, signposting to specialist support services where required.
- Work closely with repairs teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
