About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mould Marshall – Damp & Mould Operative to join a busy housing team working across North London. This is a hands-on role focused on improving living conditions for residents by identifying, treating, and preventing damp and mould issues within residential properties. You will play a vital role in ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard in line with Awaab’s Law and health & safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remove damp and mould from residential properties
  • Apply mould treatment solutions to affected areas
  • Carry out minor repairs, painting, and decorating works
  • Identify and report property defects or health & safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of works completed
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards, COSHH regulations, and Awaab’s Law
  • Travel across North London attending scheduled appointments and emergency callouts
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied homes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience carrying out damp and mould treatments
  • Experience within social housing, domestic repairs, or property maintenance
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Flexibility to travel and respond to urgent works when required
