About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mould Marshall – Damp & Mould Operative to join a busy housing team working across North London. This is a hands-on role focused on improving living conditions for residents by identifying, treating, and preventing damp and mould issues within residential properties. You will play a vital role in ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard in line with Awaab’s Law and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove damp and mould from residential properties
- Apply mould treatment solutions to affected areas
- Carry out minor repairs, painting, and decorating works
- Identify and report property defects or health & safety concerns
- Maintain accurate records of works completed
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards, COSHH regulations, and Awaab’s Law
- Travel across North London attending scheduled appointments and emergency callouts
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied homes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience carrying out damp and mould treatments
- Experience within social housing, domestic repairs, or property maintenance
- A full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Flexibility to travel and respond to urgent works when required
