Umbrella Contract: 3-Month Ongoing Contract (with the opportunity to extend)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am β 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first and second fix carpentry and joinery repairs within occupied and void properties.
- Install, repair and maintain doors, door frames, door furniture, windows and signage.
- Undertake pre-inspections of doors, taking accurate measurements and recording door data.
- Carry out emergency lock changes in line with manufacturer guidance without compromising door integrity.
- Use fire-rated materials correctly and in accordance with current regulations.
- Complete general maintenance works, including fencing, minor decorating, demolition and remedial repairs where required.
- Use carpentry tools, plant and equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Drive and maintain a company vehicle, completing regular vehicle inspections.
- Comply with all health and safety legislation and company policies.
About You
- A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering first and second fix carpentry within a responsive repairs or housing maintenance environment.
- NVQ Level 2, City Guilds, or an equivalent qualification in Carpentry (desirable).
- Experience working within social housing or property maintenance.
- Knowledge of fire door repairs and installations.
- Good understanding of general building maintenance.
- The ability to supervise or support apprentices and trainees where required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence (essential).
