This is a senior delivery and leadership role with responsibility for the borough’s active travel function, covering cycling, walking, micromobility and behaviour-change programmes. You will lead major active travel schemes and programmes that support mode shift, improve public health and contribute to the Council’s climate and ecological commitments. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of the borough’s active travel strategy, policy and programme. Lead major cycling and walking schemes, including cycle lanes, junction improvements, Low Traffic Neighbourhoods and town-centre/corridor schemes. Oversee cycling infrastructure, cycle parking, cycle hubs and associated public realm improvements.
