We are currently recruiting for an experienced FRA Carpenter to join a busy repairs and compliance team working across North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter with fire safety experience to secure a long-term contract with a company van provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of new fire doors and door sets
  • Repairing and upgrading existing fire doors and frames
  • Fire stopping works
  • Installation of electrical enclosures
  • Installing fire-rated plasterboard systems
  • Ensuring all works comply with current fire safety regulations and British Standards
  • Completing works to a high standard of quality and workmanship
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing minor administrative tasks
  • Delivering excellent customer service when working in occupied properties

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience carrying out FRA / fire door carpentry works
  • Strong understanding of fire door components and fire safety compliance
  • Knowledge of relevant British Standards and fire safety regulations
  • Experience with fire stopping and passive fire protection works
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
  • Good record-keeping and communication skills
  • Strong customer service and resident liaison skills
