The Opportunity:
We are on the hunt for a savvy and creative Copywriter to produce clear, concise, and engaging content for VoucherCodes merchant pages. In this role, you will write long- and short-form copy (including Buyers’ Guides, SEO-driven FAQs, and Hints & Tips) across a wide variety of sectors and major partner brands ranging from Adidas to Deliveroo.
You will join our established Remote Operations/Content team working independently to meet tight project constraints while maintaining our distinct brand tone of voice.
Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must be permanently based in the UK).
Schedule: Flexible part-time hours (up to 21 hours per week) with the ability to fit work schedule around life schedule.
Equipment: Must use own laptop equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging, and grammatically correct short- and long-form copy following VoucherCodes' distinct Tone of Voice (TOV).
- Produce original content for Guides, FAQs, and Hints & Tips sections without duplicating work across merchants.
- Follow copywriting briefs carefully and weave in designated SEO keywords seamlessly while avoiding keyword stuffing.
- Source and create basic supporting images for merchant content using Canva.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned writing tasks within strict project deadlines.
- Review and proofread copy to ensure faultless quality and grammar.
Job Qualifications
- Creative writing ability with an imaginative approach across a variety of commercial sectors.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices and strategic keyword placement.
- Exceptional proofreading skills with an eye for detail and impeccable grammar.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Canva for basic image creation.
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively and independently in a remote setting.
- Required Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of proven experience as a Copywriter or in a related role, OR a degree in a relevant field.
- Permanently based in the UK with access to own laptop equipment and reliable internet.
- Submission of writing samples or portfolio demonstrating previous copywriting work.
