VoucherCart Ltd is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Internal Accountant to join our team in the Edinburgh office at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, based in the Meadows, Edinburgh.
Expected to work 2-3 Days/week you will provide Management Accounting and Bookkeeping Services to the business.
VoucherCart is a fast-growing and market-leading SaaS Voucher & Gift Card Technology provider serving customers globally. The role provides significant scope for carer advancement and to shape and manage the internal finance function.
Qualifications & Experience
You will be progressing towards or have completed a CIMA or ACCA/ICAS Qualification for 2+ years Accounting and bookkeeping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Process Creation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain coherent financial processes and internal workflows.
- Produce clear monthly management accounts reports for the CEO.
- Prepare business cashflow forecasts using Xero, Google Sheets, and additional tools as required.
Weekly / Monthly Financial Operations
- Manage and oversee our invoicing and billing platform (Chargebee).
- Handle debt management and the monthly dunning process, including updating bank transfer payments and chasing overdue invoices.
- Process, track, and pay external B2B contractor invoices monthly.
- Support the Customer Success team in raising customer invoices in Chargebee for agreed services.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure timely receipt of invoices within agreed scope.
- Issue monthly salary payments to VoucherCart employees and external contractors.
- Manage and distribute monthly reseller payouts.
- Oversee monthly payroll processing via Xero.
- Manage the company pension scheme.
- Perform other administrative and financial duties as required.
Annual & Quarterly Accounting
- Complete and submit quarterly VAT returns via Xero.
- Liaise with external corporate accountants for preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax filings.
