Own the Finance Function of a Growing Saa S Business Voucher Cart is looking for an experienced, commercially minded Management Accountant to take ownership of our finance function.

This is far more than a traditional management accounting role.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you\'ll be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the business while providing the financial insight and reporting that supports strategic decision-making.

From processing payroll and managing cash flow to preparing board reports and supporting future fundraising activity, you\'ll play a pivotal role in helping Voucher Cart continue its growth journey.

The Opportunity

As Voucher Cart\'s Management Accountant, you\'ll have complete ownership of the finance function.

You\'ll work closely with the CEO, external accountants and senior stakeholders to ensure the business has accurate financial information, robust financial controls and meaningful commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations
  • Own and maintain the company\'s Xero accounting platform and Chargebee subscription billing platform.
  • Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Process supplier payments and customer invoices.
  • Monitor debtor balances and proactively manage credit control.
  • Process payroll and all associated statutory submissions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, reconciliations and supporting documentation.
  • Continuously improve finance processes and internal controls.
  • Financial Reporting & Commercial Analysis
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
  • Produce rolling cash flow forecasts and liquidity reporting.
  • Support annual budgeting and financial planning.
  • Prepare insightful financial analysis for the CEO and Board.
  • Produce Board packs and supporting financial commentary.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for key business metrics.

• Track and report Saa S KPIs, including

  • Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR)
  • Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
  • Net Revenue Retention (NRR)
  • Gross Revenue Retention (GRR)
  • Customer Churn
  • Cash Runway
  • Support commercial decision-making through financial modelling and analysis.
  • Maintain and develop the company\'s investor data room and support future fundraising activities.
  • Compliance & Governance
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC and all relevant financial regulations.
  • Liaise with external accountants throughout the year-end accounts process.
  • Maintain appropriate audit trails and financial documentation.
  • Ensure robust financial governance across the business.

About You

You'll enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and working independently within a collaborative leadership team.

You\'ll be equally comfortable processing transactions one day and presenting financial insights the next.

Essential Experience

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
  • Previous experience as a Management Accountant, Company Accountant or Finance Manager.
  • Strong bookkeeping and management accounting knowledge.
  • Experience preparing management accounts and cash flow forecasts.
  • Experience with VAT returns and statutory compliance.
  • Experience using Xero or another modern cloud accounting platform.
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a finance function.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within a Saa S or technology business.
  • Knowledge of subscription-based revenue models.
  • Experience reporting Saa S metrics.
  • Exposure to investor reporting or fundraising.
  • Experience with Chargebee or similar subscription billing platforms.
