Job Details:
- Support the implementation of the Fabric and Trims strategy, aligned with Commercial and Technical objectives, leading the team to meet key milestones.
- Deliver ASOS fabric management (ACFT) training to empower suppliers on fabric self-approvals, supporting speed to market and Right First Time (RFT) quality.
- Ensure high quality and consistency across global manufacturing by using approved core fabrics for bulk production and managing a fabric library.
- Develop and deliver fabric training modules for the business and suppliers, and hold regular meetings to review testing performance and Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
- Re-engineer and develop fabrics through various mills to achieve optimal pricing, with regional support.
- Promote innovation in materials, collaborating with Commercial teams.
- Support regional and global consolidation of fabric mills.
- Assist the Head of Fabric in cost-saving negotiations on fabric and yarn, working closely with Commercial teams.
- Participate in seasonal buying reviews to standardize fabric quality, reduce variance, and enhance garment performance.
- Develop new fabric trends and innovations, working with commercial teams.
- Support mapping of mills and raw materials to align with Fashion with Integrity goals.
- Utilize Mill Accreditation systems to build partnerships with top yarn and fabric mills.
