The QA Team at our Fulfilment Centre in Barnsley are a key component in the continuing success at asos.com. Currently they are the final point to ensure our products are the best quality they can possibly be, and that customers get great value for money. Manage the delivery of consistently high-quality products globally, overseeing and establishing new ASOS offshore Quality Control Centres. Provide support to the Global ASOS QC team through active coaching and best in class SOP sharing, working in close partnership with GLH tech team, QC off shore Manufacturers and Suppliers. Collaboration with Customer Care, Customer InSites and Head of Technical. Drive Financial Benefits back into the business with efficiencies and Value add continuous improvement. Own and manage AQL Dashboard and the Administrative upkeep / Training for Offshore QCC and Supply base. Oversee the Workstreams and deliverables of projects and objectives within Quality Function. Set reporting and KPI Metrics to support Workstreams. Drive initiatives and projects to build capabilities within factories to ensure we have a robust and fit for purpose supplier base. What you\’ll be doing: Develop and deliver ASOS global QA strategy to deliver consistency and alignment in quality assessment process and reporting across FC and QCC centres. Support the set-up of Offshore Quality Control Centres as gatekeepers, enabling us to resolve quality concerns at source pre-loading. Deliver appropriate QA policies, standard operating procedures, solutions to improve customer perception and returns reduction. Own Reporting and data analysing of AQL inspections dashboard – providing and influencing solutions to drive improvements for supplier quality performance. Formulate and deliver comprehensive and mandatory factory training programs and auditing process to ensure product quality standard achieved in bulk production meets Customer expectations. Formulate and Implement Supplier technical rating criteria part of ASOS Scorecard process to drive through continuous capability improvement. Formulate and deliver a clear factory quality R-A-G systems to support the business shift from Quality Control to Quality Assurance, to ensure we are placing the right product in the right factory. Monitor and Manage QA KPIs associated with business objectives and projects to support quality improvement and returns reduction. Drive factory Self AQL strategy and ASQC (ASOS, Certified Quality Controller) Certification and accreditation process to support speed and business profitability. Working with the Global Returns Centres and Supply Chain Function to review best Salvage operational processing, optimising back to stock product along with total returns reviews to ensure closed circle on any Quality Issues. Minimum Requirements: Experience and knowledge of working with a global Clothing retailer. Experience of working in a fast-paced fashion business. Exceptional knowledge of QA management systems and standards. Exceptional management skills and style. The ability to develop a 3rd party providers i.e consolidators or processors, to work to standards of best practice.
