CBM Aggregates is seeking a Technical Services Representative (Student), based in Sunderland. This position is for Students available between April – December 2026.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Sample aggregate products following CBM sampling policy. Perform all duties in a safe manner according to CBM procedures.
- Perform aggregate tests (gradations, physical properties) in accordance with specified test methods.
- Report in a timely and clear fashion the quality of products about production issues (targets, causes, solutions) and shipping issues (end user requirements).
- Maintain laboratory and testing equipment in an appropriate state of repair.
- Enter and process data both manually and on computer software supplied.
- Assist production personnel in production trials, sampling, and documenting quality for green-field sites.
- Operate company vehicle safely.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current post-secondary student (or starting post-secondary) in related field (physical science etc.)
- Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel)
- Valid G2 or G class drivers license and clear 3-year drivers abstract
- Ability to drive company pick-up truck and work outdoors
- Locations are remote – Company sites have no public transit access
- 18 years of age or older
