Established principally in Ontario, Canada, St. Marys CBM is the building materials division of St. Marys Cement. This position is for a Student based in Sunderland and is for students available between April – December 2026.
Responsibilities:- Visit job sites, perform ongoing CSA & ASTM concrete and raw materials testing.
- Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Promotes value added products, collects market and job information.
- Supervises and plans for efficient use of materials and equipment.
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards or procedures.
- Reviews and supervises the work of third-party Concrete Testing Services.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering Technician (CET) program, or similar program.
- Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel).
- Ability to perform physical tasks outside.
- Construction field experience would be an asset.
- Valid G2 or G Driver’s license and ability to drive a company pickup truck.
- 3-year clean drivers abstract.
- Must be able to lift up 50lbs.
