The role

To prepare and decorate interior and exterior surfaces of commercial, or industrial buildings, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets the business specifications, safety standards, and project deadlines.

  • Prepare surfaces for painting and decorating by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required
  • Apply paint, varnish, stains, wallpaper, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spraying equipment
  • Mix and match paints to required colours and textures
  • Repair damaged walls, ceilings, and surfaces prior to decoration
  • Hang wallpaper and decorative finishes accurately and neatly
  • Protect furniture, floors, and fixtures with dust sheets and coverings
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times, including safe use of ladders and equipment
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Liaise with clients, supervisors, and other trades on-site as required
  • Complete work within agreed timescales and budgets
  • Must be confident at working from heights and using height equipment

About you

You will need:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent
  • CSCS card (for construction/site roles)
  • Full UK driving licence

Location

Based at Marsh Mills but will require travel to all Vospers sites. A driving licence is essential for this position.

Salary

Dependent on experience and qualifications to be discussed at interview.
