We’re on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented Financial Assistant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of core accounting tasks in a dynamic and supportive environment. You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly and accurately, working closely with our Financial Controller and other departments.

Key Responsibilities- Accurately post all daily bank transactions and reconcile bank statements
- Manage the full Purchase Ledger process: input supplier invoices, reconcile statements, resolve queries, and prepare payments
- Handle Accounts Receivable tasks including issuing statements, performing credit checks, opening new accounts, and managing credit control
- Monitor and manage the finance team’s shared email inbox
- Compile and distribute a weekly sales report
- Assist the Financial Controller with month-end processes
- Reconcile selected balance sheet accounts
- Manage and maintain petty cash records
- Support with additional ad hoc duties as required
- Strong Excel skills, with working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Experience using Sage (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach
- Professional attitude with the confidence to communicate clearly and effectively across departments
- Ability to manage time well, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities when needed
