This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual who wants to join a finance team and contribute from the ground up as well as add value broadly across a fast growth business. We will expect you to:

  • Maintain and update financial records and general ledger entries, and ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded (timing, amount, description, currency, cost centre and legal entity).
  • Prepare and review monthly bank and credit card reconciliations, inter-company and other balance sheet reconciliations, including deferred & accrued revenue, prepayments & accruals, fixed assets, and depreciation journals.
  • Prepare the weekly cash flow forecast, working with team members to ensure accuracy.
  • Review all payments in the banking portal prior to approval.
  • Support VAT return for UK, Sales tax in USA and GST in Singapore.
  • Manage our outsourced payroll providers and monthly payroll process and post payroll journals.
  • Work with rev ops to calculate quarterly sales commissions and provide reporting to Account Executives.
  • Support month–end and year–end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow and variance analysis.

You will have:

  • Qualified or Part qualified, workings towards professional accounting qualification with 3-4 years’ experience in finance.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A Self Starter with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • A great communicator with the ability to influence and empathise with people from both financial and non-financial backgrounds.
  • Knowledgeable in business/management information systems (Excel to intermediate level a must, Xero, NetSuite, Dext, etc).
