Vortex is expanding and looking to bring in experienced Wind Turbine Technicians, both contract and permanent roles available. We’re keen to speak with technicians experienced on:

  • Siemens 2.3 VS
  • Siemens 2.3 CS
  • Siemens 1.3
  • Vestas V52, V66, V80

The Role:

  • Servicing
  • Fault finding
  • Major component exchange
  • Planned maintenance

Location & Travel:

  • Work across Scotland
  • Must be willing to travel and stay away from home where necessary for the week, occasionally max 2 weeks

Desirable:

  • AT or CT status on Siemens 1.3/2.3 CS/VS
  • Willingness to work towards and sit AT panels for key clients

Development & Progression:

  • Support and training provided to achieve AT status
  • Opportunities for progression as the company continues to grow

Opportunities & Package:

  • Authorised Technicians: £46,000 – £52,000 (DOE)
  • Competent technician (CT) - Negotiable on experience
  • Paid travel & accommodation
