The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
Ideally to have experience in the air cargo industry and a background in warehousing, transport and customer service. The main duties of the Night Shift Warehouse role will include:
- Manual Handling of all types of cargo, mainly perishables; Chilled, Frozen and Ambient Temperatures.
- Use of our range of Counter-Balance Fork Lift Trucks from 1.5t - 8t.
- Picking/Packing, Splitting and Sorting shipments according to instructions in a timely manner.
- Loading and un-loading of our range of vehicles from Vans, up to Artics, plus other visiting drivers.
- Sorting, stacking and building our aircraft pallet stocks, as well as logging them in/out using our computer system and generating paperwork for the same.
- Keeping accurate logs (both on paper and electronically) of the stock in the Warehouse, including all movements in/out.
- Working with the office team to effectively carry out the duties for each shift, as outlined by the supervisor and Warehouse management throughout the day.
- Best Housekeeping practices, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all staff.
To be considered for the role, you must have:
- At least 3 years warehousing experience.
- Previous working experience in the Air Freight sector.
- A FLT driving licence for B1 classification (Ideally B2 as well, but not essential).
