Our client is a leading supplier of roofing and building materials with branches within and around the M25. We are currently recruiting for an HGV Driver to join our busy Surbiton branch. This is a full time, permanent role. We offer a competitive salary, 28 days holiday, life assurance & EAP, discretionary bonus, Cycle scheme and Long Service Awards.

The role:

  • Delivery and collection of roofing and associated materials to site and respective suppliers, by means of mechanical and/or manual loading and unloading
  • Clearance of second-hand materials and rubbish from site
  • Loading and unloading customers, suppliers, and own vehicles
  • Assisting customers with enquiries
  • Responsibility for routine vehicle inspections on a daily basis
  • Weekly inspections recorded on the official Company report document
  • Always maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle
  • Maintain all statutory records
  • Act in a courteous manner to customers and other road users
