McAllister is looking for a reliable and organised Yard & Facilities Coordinator to manage our depot and office area in Stratford. Your main job will be keeping the yard safe, tidy, and running smoothly so our field teams can get to work without delays. If you like being active, organising spaces, and keeping things in order, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Yard Management: Keep the main yard clean, tidy, and safe. Make sure equipment and vehicles are parked correctly.
- Stock & Inventory: Check in deliveries, organise materials, and keep track of stock levels so the team has what they need.
- Facilities Maintenance: Look after the office and yard buildings. Carry out simple upkeep tasks or arrange for repairs when needed.
- Health & Safety: Make sure walkways are clear, waste is disposed of correctly, and safety rules are followed in the yard.
- Team Support: Assist drivers and site teams with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
Experience
- Experience: Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse, or construction depot.
- Skills: Good practical skills, organised, and able to work on your own initiative.
- Licence: A valid UK Driving Licence is highly preferred (Forklift licence is a bonus, but not essential).
