About The Role

Vortex, a specialist CIPP (Cured-In-Place Pipe) rehabilitation contractor, is seeking an organised and detail-focused CCTV Data Co‑ordinator to join our growing operations team, supporting projects across the South of the UK. This is a key administrative and technical support role within the business. Working from our office, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of CCTV survey data between field survey teams, analysts, engineers, and clients — ensuring footage, reports, and records are logged, quality‑checked, and delivered accurately and on time.

Working closely with CCTV Surveyors, CCTV Analysts, and Project Managers, you will play a critical role in maintaining an organised, accurate, and accessible archive of survey data that supports our trenchless rehabilitation and lining programmes. This position is based in our office and involves regular liaison with field teams, internal departments, and clients to ensure data is processed efficiently and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and organise incoming CCTV survey footage and data from field survey teams
  • Check incoming data for completeness and quality prior to processing, flagging any issues to Survey or Operations teams
  • Upload, catalogue, and maintain digital survey data within internal and client systems
  • Track survey job progress, ensuring footage and reports are processed and delivered within agreed timescales
  • Coordinate the scheduling and allocation of survey data between field teams and office-based analysts
  • Compile and format survey reports ready for client submission, in accordance with MSCC5 and client standards
  • Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and databases of survey jobs, footage, and report status
  • Act as a point of contact for internal teams and clients regarding survey data queries and report status
  • Support the archiving and retrieval of historic survey data as required
  • Assist with general administrative duties supporting the survey and operations departments
  • Ensure full compliance with data handling, company procedures, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a data co‑ordination, administration, or scheduling role, ideally within the drainage, utilities, or construction sector
  • Familiarity with CCTV survey data and MSCC5 defect coding is desirable but not essential
  • Strong IT skills, including confident use of Microsoft Excel and database or reporting software
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines simultaneously
  • High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident liaising with internal teams and external clients
  • Experience with industry-standard CCTV survey and reporting software (desirable)

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Modern office‑based working environment
  • Pension scheme and additional benefits
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Clear progression pathway within a specialist CIPP rehabilitation company
  • Supportive and professional team environment
  • Opportunity to work on major wastewater infrastructure projects across the South of the UK
