Vorteron is an early-stage transaction-control infrastructure venture focused on resilient digital-commerce systems. The public company narrative is intentionally broad while the product remains in early development. This is a founder-led build, not a corporate engineering department or agency project. We are looking for a Founding Full-Stack Engineer to help build the core product system from the ground up.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can own meaningful parts of the stack: front end, back end, database, infrastructure, third-party integrations, internal tools, and product architecture. The position is London / UK focused, with a hybrid working model. Some remote work is fine, but regular UK access and close founder collaboration are important.
- Design clean backend architecture, APIs, database models, and operational workflows
- Develop reliable front-end experiences that support real users and real transactions
- Help define what should be automated now and what should remain manual during the early stage
- Make practical trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
Strong full-stack engineering ability:
- Strong backend ownership, not frontend-only experience
- Experience building real products from 0→1
- React / Next.js / TypeScript
- js, Python, Go, or similar backend stacks
- PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Cloud deployment, CI/CD, observability, and production operations
Compensation will be discussed based on experience, seniority, availability, and role fit. For the right founding profile, we are open to discussing a long-term incentive structure alongside salary.
